The boys love seeing the dogs when we are down to visit, and it's sad to think that he and his mates won't be there anymore. I don't recall being told that you shore him!? That would have been a sight to behold, I'm sure, although I bet he was grateful for the respite from the heat. Sounds like that heat & the drought over summer has been fairly tough on you and the sheep, and hopefully this cold, autumn rain won't make things worse.
